Directors Appointed at ReGen Therapeutics Plc

Martin Small and Timothy Shilton have today been appointed to the board of ReGen Therapeutics Plc with immediate effect. Martin has been involved with ReGen as general manager since 1998 and is now designated New Projects Director. Tim joined ReGen in November 2000 where he has full time responsibility for developing ColostrininTM as a therapy for Alzheimer’s disease. Tim has been appointed as Development Director.

Business background – Timothy Simon Shilton (46)BSc Hons (Biochemistry/Toxicology)

Tim Shilton has been involved in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. After completing his degree at Surrey University in 1979 Tim joined the Regulatory Affairs Department at Wellcome, where he was specifically involved in product registration and licensing. He later transferred to International Strategic Marketing/New Products, where he was part of the team responsible for establishing Wellcome as the market leader in antivirals with Zovirax (aciclovir) and Retrovir (AZT).

After leaving Wellcome in 1995 Tim consulted for various pharmaceutical and healthcare communications companies, before joining Phairson Medical in 1996, as Director of Product Development and Marketing. His primary responsibilities at Phairson were pre-clinical drug development and new project in-licensing.

Tim Shilton is currently a director of Caxton Place Heritage Limited.

Business background – Martin Jonathan Small (44)

Martin Small joined commodity trader J.H. Rayner (Mincing Lane) Ltd, part of the S & W Berisford group, in 1982, trading in sugar in the Far East and Middle Eastern markets. He moved to commodity broking in 1985, where he gained extensive experience in the vegetable oils & seeds markets of Hong Kong, China and West Africa. From 1990 to 1996, he developed various business ventures in Scandinavia and Central Europe, including the establishment of an official distributor of Japanese premium-brand air conditioning equipment in Poland in 1991. In 1996 he met Jerzy Georgiades and, together with Malcolm Beveridge, they co-founded The Georgiades Foundation Ltd in June 1997 which was subsequently sold to ReGen.

Martin Small is currently a director of Smallworld Marketing Consultants Limited. He was previously a director of Crown Environmental Limited, a company that was dissolved in 1999 and of VisualManual Limited, a company that was dissolved in 1997 following a creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

There are no further details required to be disclosed under paragraph (f) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules in respect of either Martin Small or Tim Shilton.
