ReGen Therapeutics Plc (AIM:RGT) announced on 7 December 2009 a comprehensive
update showing how business was proceeding in each market. Since then there
have been three material changes:
Australia
We reported that Healthworld Limited were not able to import Colostrinin(TM)
because of new restrictions imposed on colostrum products by the Australian
Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS). We are pleased to announce that
Healthworld Limited has now been given a valid permit to import Colostrinin(TM)
into Australia again.
Turkey
As a previously unexpected requirement our licensee Eczacibasi have been asked
to provide the Turkish Authorities with samples of Colostrinin(TM) tablets,
packed into blisters and branded ‘Dyna’ – exactly as it is proposed to import
commercial supplies. These have now been provided to Eczacibasi and they expect
to receive final approval to market the product within the next few weeks.
Cyprus
Upgraded blister packing has now been developed by Metagenics to prevent the
issue of tablet discolouration that was being experienced in Cyprus. A supply of
these has now been provided to Golgi to minimise any disruption to their
distribution and marketing.
In all other markets we are proceeding as set out in the Notice of the 7
December 2009.
